Lovely shots of a bird that's very difficult to photograph. You sure got a lot of feather detail.

Wow !! Some of the best Egret shots I've seen. That eye is extremely sharp. The K5 and the DA 300 are a wonderful combination.

I agree #1 is superb, I have chased many an Egret and those are great shots

More wonderful photos from the master! Amazing captures of the detail & behavior, and wonderful composition too.

It looks like some of the sky areas close to the legs missed some of the PP in the first three - shades of blue don't match the rest. (I only noticed because I've done the same thing many times...)
