Default Pentax K-X with 55 to 300mm Kit Lens through the Glass Container

Here are some pictures that I took with my Kit Lens and with 800 ISO. Amazing how clear they got.

It really depends on the situation/lighting and the subject, but if you get enough contrasts ISO 800 is a safe choice, aye. I bet you could have gone to ISO1600/3200 with the K-x and still get a decent image!

Indeed a fine job with some difficult lighting conditions. Showcases both the camera's abilities and your talents!

ISO 800 on the Kx - no problem. These are very nice, you handled the situation very well. Did you get close to the glass to avoid reflections, or stand back a bit and look for angles to see where you could shoot without them? It's tough to shoot through glass!

There're looking great. With the k-x the 800 shouldn't be any problem.
