Default A Pink Chair and a Yellow Spider

The summer evenings lately have shed some wonderful light in the back yard. Here are a few shots that I've been working on using back lighting.

Great use of the light! Really nice composition on #1, and wonderful 1st crab spider image!

I agree about that first crab spider shot - excellent use of the backlight. I like the second one also, while it's not such a WOW shot as the first one, the shadow is awesome and it's unique. Very cool. I like the first one chair picture better than the second one - I'm not as aware of how you got the light-rays, whereas the second one I was much more aware of the sprinkler. The first one is somewhat mysterious until you look closer and realize how you managed it. Very, very clever!

That's some beautiful light and a great idea. I love the spider shots (esp #1) but I'm afraid the cheap pink chair spoils the first two. I'd look for another object !
