Default The "Old Church" in Petäjävesi, Finland

Hell Fellow Pentaxians. Had some fun with photo... standing in front of this old but very tall building (built in 1763-64), in order to take this picture I had to use wide angle, which meant some pretty mean distortion. I corrected about 90% of it in PSE9. Also learned how to deal that over-blue-colouration when using a polarizing filter.... Anyway, it was fun.

G'day Eetu

What a beautiful building - & your capture / treatment of it for us
Downunder in Oz we don't have buildings like this, so it is always fascinating to view them
I often wonder how the craftsmen built this & others like it - the height, the sweeping curved roofs, etc etc - back in the old days

Thanks for sharing
Regards, Phil

What a lovely old building. You did a fine job of capturing the building, and you had a very fine day for your outing.
