Default K5 features

Does the K5 have any new feature that the K7 does not other than the new sensor?

Interesting comparison between K5, and K7
Here's an interesting thread comparing the K5's output to the K7's. I was rather surprised that the K7 held up as well as it did. I will start shooting raw for sure. The K5 definlately beats it, but still not bad for the K7. I'm going to buy Topaz Denoise, and start shooting raw. That I think will take me where I want be. The K7 is certainly not terrible at 3200. I think with just a bit of doctoring in Denoise, it could be quite usable. Raw sure makes a huge difference. Just something else for me to learn how to do.Here's the link.....

Thanks. Very interesting. The K5 definitely has wider dynamic range, but the K7's mouse looked pretty acceptable. I have my K7 up onebay right now. If it doesn't sell, I may experiment with raw.

I didn't get one of those when I bought my K7

That was suppose to noise. Stupid spelling correction I think. I had to look at that awhile to figure out what I meant.

The funny thing is that I knew immediately what you meant. Does that make me crazy?

Not particularly crazy, but definitely smarter than me. My K7 has 14 watchers. I think it may sell. Is there any ongoing problems with the K5 lately? I remember the stain issue.
