Default Sunset at Prince Gallitzin

Was trying to get a good sunset shot while on vacation at Prince Gallitzin State Park in Pennsylvania last week. This lucky fisherman came out onto the beach at the right time and helped me catch a nice shot with the sun setting behind the hills in the distance.

A lovely shot! Looks like you had very good success with your goal of a good sunset picture.

Thanks mole, I spent a lot of time waiting for the sunset that day so I was able to play around with shutter/aperture until I had what I wanted. This shot is straight out of the camera, no PP.

Thanks Patty, the lack of clouds or much else made him a necessary addition. I got lucky.

Thanks mtngal. I tried a couple days to get a good shot at sunset. I didn't want to leave the park after having a lakefront cabin without getting something good at sunset.

A very cool series! What lens did you use for the cavern pictures? I love them! Plus the fire picture is very nice, too. And that view from the fire-pit - can't ask for better than that. Hope our vacation provides us as nice a location.
