Kevin - Noticed that you own both the Sigma 10-20 and now the Pentax DA 15. Just wondering, how do these two lenses compare? Would be very interested in your opinions and experiences with both. Thanks so much!

I recently bought the 15 Ltd and it is hardly off my camera at the moment, I use it every opportunity I get ! Landscapes - yep, Cityscapes - yep, full body portraits - yep, street - yep, birding - yep (there it is on that branch in the distance - can't you see it ) ?! I just love the colour rendering this lens produces - polariser be gone ! And of course then there are the sun/star bursts.

I still use the 10-20 a lot (work) but the 15 Ltd is my lens of choice when shooting for pleasure though there is a little more leg work involved than with a zoom, 15 is certainly not even close to 10mm (that's a 50% difference of course) so if you need ultra wide then the 15mm isn't for you.

Minimum focus of the 15 Ltd is around 8-10 inches so this is a lens for creative use and then everything is sharp from around 2 yards/metres onwards so great DoF.

The 10-20 is very sharp, the 15 Ltd is exceptionally sharp. Both can have soft edges if you are not careful (good and bad samples of the lenses) and maybe with vegetation / trees. The 15 Ltd now never leaves my bag (well it's so small it'll fit in anywhere) and the build quality is fabulous !
