Default First day shooting with K5

Here are some shots I took today with my new K5. The camera performed flawlessly! Can't believe the difference in dynamic range over my K7. Exposures were mostly right on.
It was a very hazy Florida day.

What lens did you use? Did you do any processing besides resizing on these? Just curious.

Asking because I think I'm ready. One of my larger purchases that had been delaying this came in $1000 under what I'd expected. So, guess where the $1000 is going. Now just to decide where to get it from.

Nice images.

Patty

These look really good, love the house. Weather does look difficult for lighting but you seemed to handle it quite well. Doesn't look like there's any focus problems or anything.

Glad to hear that your replacement seems to work perfectly. I sincerely hope you have a wonderful time on your upcoming trip, and I hope you'll post many photos here after your return!

Hi Patty, I just used the 18-55mm kit lens. Just made small adjustment to sharpness, and opened up the shadows slightly.

The camera did great with focus, and exposure. Just made slight adjustments in Aperture. These weren't even raw, and I believe they were shot at 800ISO. I have to say the images come off the camera sharper than the K7. I don't know if I have a better copy of the kit lens, or it's the body, but I'm really impressed with the detail.

Aways buy it from somewhere that you know will replace / refund without question. B&H is the one I see recommended far and away the most for their great service (I have no affiliation) : http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search...280+4291284238

or if anyone if buying in the UK then SRS.
