Glad you are still enjoying your A* 300!
First is definitely a very interesting abstract design, not something I would think to do, but certainly fascinating to see.
Second is a great composition, and really seems to be telling the story well...

Thanks for the compliments on #1. I'm starting to re-discover that shooting with manual focus lenses can be fun. I did have to change my contact/glasses and adjust the dioper adjustment a hair. I had been having quite a bit of trouble seeing the focus for a while and had begun to believe I'd have to stay with AF lenses. Now it's back to business as usual.
