Default Love the K5

Everyhings working great, and this really is a superb camera. I really hope Ricoh does some real advertizing because the K5 is a remarkable instrument. It deserves more attention. If your lucky to get a good working copy, the camera becomes totally transparent. This is the first camera I have owned where I have to do so little in the way of PP. With the right marketing this camera could easily be on the best selling list. I'm hooked!

Great that this second camera has worked out for you. And you are right, the quality is really amazing! I wouldn't be surprised if you feel the same way after tomorrow, Patty.

Yep, it came today. Haven't had a chance to use it yet as the battery was down to the last bar. It's charging now. I'm reading through the manual to get to know things. Know it won't be the last time I read stuff, though.

So right about how good Pentax equipment is...with the right marketing as you say, they could be well up in sales.

I hope we will see big changes in marketing once Ricoh takes over.

Patty, glad to hear I will have a friend learning the K5 at the same time. I ordered mine last night. I am determined to MAKE time for photography this fall after a really hard spring and summer.
