Default Scratch Another One from the Bucket List

A lot of new experiences this year-maybe because of turning 65 next year. Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston. Over 8,000 rowers-300,000 of my closest friends-largest regatta in the world.

The guy with the Pentax camera standing on the BU bridge looking down on the boats. The races were on Sat & Sun from 8-4. A launch every 15 seconds (or so)
Would have been interesting to be at the start-but that was 3 miles away.

I always thought rowing would be fun, once a person learned how to do it properly. It's always fascinating to see how perfectly in sync a good crew is.

I had no idea this sport was so popular-they had to row the 3 miles for time-then had to row back the 3 miles back to the start/disembark. Overall view of the Charles

Very nice shots, I love boats and crew on a friends sail boat during races, I have never had my dslr on a race, too much action the camera would get destroyed. I don't want to hijack your post but just one shot.

Hi-jack all you want-that's a great shot-see why you wouldn't take the camera.
