Here's one for right now, I did think of the challenge when I shot this Saturday. It was taken inside the Pt. Reyes lighthouse, I finally walked down all those stairs. It was interesting, this is one of the original horns. The current light and horns are now automated, but at one time it was a tough job to work there. In a couple of days perhaps I'll put together something on it - instead of a lighthouse located high up on a bluff, it's located way down from the top of the bluff - the stairs equal a 30 story building (though I'm not sure about that, it really didn't seem all THAT bad coming up).

Edited - removed picture I'm changing my entry.

First time entering the challenge, new lens DA 23 f2.4, I shot this thinking of the challenge, It's been in the back yard for years, just looked at it differently. I also shot it with my SMC-A 28 f2.8, this one was sharper.

I've replaced my first entry with this one taken today with my 'new' 'old' lens (you can try to guess it later - but I bet you can't, no peeking at the exif)

Red in the morning sailors may need to take warning but for photographers it is delight.

Am changing my entry - the other was nice, but I like the bokeh of this one better... By the way, if you want to see a few more photos of this chipmunk, I'm planning to post a few down at the Wildlife Photos section...

PS - here's a link to the rest of the Chipmunk photos:

Here is a little different take on bokeh. I got this idea from DPreview. I used a snowflake punch from my wife's stamping collection, punched a piece of black paper, taped it on a UV filter, put it on the camera and then took the picture. It's not at all natural, but here it is anyway. DL with kit lens. The background is our Christmas tree lights.
