A lovely series! It's always so much fun when you post photos of life in Shanghai. That's the best thing about this board, I get to travel around the world while sitting in my living room.

Indeed a great tour of "ordinary" life, lovingly photographed. Such great expressions, such fine compositions...

My favorite is the cooper (#9) - perhaps for the excellent detail and great B&W conversion, or perhaps because it reminds me of similar scenes here at home...

Kevin, your pictures always stir up some great memories for me. These pictures are beautifully done as always.

They inspired me to dig back into my China pictures and I found some not so glorious food. These were taken in Beijing. No I did not try any. All were with my K100D and pop up flash.

A menu board

A perennial favorite fried Scorpion on a stick.

Fried Silkworms and head on shrimp.

Squid, Starfish and Sea Urchin.

Take your pick!

Unable to make up his mind.

Kevin, wonderful series. Maybe my cardiologist needs to send me to China. I don't think I'd have any trouble losing weight there.

Been absent for a while, but a great pleasure to come back and find these just wonderful series.

I do have a problem, between #9, #10 and #11. I don’t know which one I like more.

10, no 9, no 11, yes 9, but 10, and 11……

Congratulation FROGFISH.

Thank you Paul, kind words ! I don't think you'd lose weight (I've put on 20 kgs in the 18 years I've been here)

Armando - I very much appreciate your kind comments ! I am also very pleased that people liked my B&W conversions !
