Hi Guys. Merry Christmas to all.

Does your neighbor keep it as a pet?

I am spending time with family in San Francisco Bay area for a change.

Should be a warmer Xmas for you Daniel, compared to Toronto. I live in Winterpeg...so Xmas in Frisco sounds very appealing.

Dawg, Kjell, and Tundraguy - great visuals for the occasion. Good wishes to you all. And to all a . . .

well . . .

Instead of my usual punny seasonal wishes, I'll treat you all to a true factoid with dismaying (to some) consequences:

Did you know that (I'm sure Kjell does) that both male and female reindeer have antlers, but only the males shed them in Winter. The females retain them until calving in the Spring. This means that Santa's sleigh is only being pulled by . . . well, you know. Maybe that is why Santa laughs so much. Ho! Ho! Ho!

By the way, in case you hadn't noticed, the world didn't end today (or was it yesterday?) as supposed by some to have been predicted by ancients of the New World- it does mark the end of the last cycle of the Mayan calendar but it actually also marks the beginning of a new one. So have a Happy New Year (whichever calendar you live by).

. . . And to all a good night.

LOL BD - great shot !

Here are two Xmas cards, one from a shot I took in 2007 and made a card from, but I still like it so you can substitute 2012 for 2008 !

n.b. Penolta - the Mayan end of the world is supposedly Dec 2012

Here's a wish to all of my fellow Pentaxians and friends here at Steve's for peace, health, happiness and prosperity... at Christmas, in the New Year and always.
