Mtnman - thank you, as are shots from your side of the world to me !

Patty - thanks ! That is only 1/4 of the scene, next NYE (most lights I guess) I'm going to try and find a better spot and get a full 8-10 shot pano.

Harriet - Thank you ! Certainly no lack of them in Shanghai. In one 10 year period (1995 - 2005) they built more high rises than the whole of Manhattan - and they just keep on coming !

Great shots Kevin, what a city to live in, the building lighting is amazing, I agree with Harriet I like the last one best, or the first ???

You do some excellent work froggy! The last one really captures the excitement of city life. The colors are great.

Thanks Mike - I have to say I do love living here and each year the city seems to just get better and better.

Thank you Glen - very kind of you to say and glad you enjoyed the set.

Love these Kevin.

The one thing I wanted to do in Shanghai and never had the time to do was take some night shots. I had time allocated in Hong Kong but a Typhoon blew in and put the kibosh on that outing.

Thanks Lou.

Night shots in cities like HK and Shanghai are so much fun !

I lived in Hk for nearly 3 years before moving here and I remember one typhoon in particular where we actually saw the seas boiling before the typhoon as it raced over HK island and tore down on us ... that one almost blew the windows in (they ballooned like someone blowing glass) !
