Typical! My lovely new K-5 is sitting with a fully charged battery, the sun is shining in a clear blue sky, and we have a panic at work and I'm sitting on a conference call looking at the outside world.

Please let this problem go away soon!!!

Sounds like something that would happen to me. Oh well, if it doesn't settle down until dark, think of how you can explore the camera's high ISO capabilities.

Congrats. I have a K10D and a KM (K2000 in the states) and I also wrestled with getting a K-5. Wondered if it was worth it....that much better than what I have kind of thing.

I got my K-5 on Nov. 28th of this year, then a battery grip and an extra battery as an Xmas gift.

I'm very happy with it...the low ISO performance is just great.

As you, I also have a very supportive wife.

Congrats...you'll love that K-5.
