Default First game of golf this year, and THIS GUY landed

It flew over my head and me with a 3 iron in my hands, and the camera in the cart. He (I assume) landed across the pond near the 6th green and just waited for me to drive the cart to opposite edge of the pond. Ok the guys with me and those following us can wait this doesn't happen every day. He let me get a few shots got tired of me and flew off. Kr ~ DA L 55-300

Wow, what great luck to be visited by a bald eagle! And you had the excellent foresight to bring your camera. Congrats!

A wonderful scene! Not every day you get to see bald eagles visiting a golf course, I suppose. Excellent shots!

So glad you had the camera with you, and that the Eagle stayed long enough for you to go back & get it! Great job - very well lighted and nice & sharp. Any idea how far you were from the bird?

Thanks all, It was a cropped 300mm shot Mole so my guess is about 30 yards, it was not cropped much
