Thank you Mole - I'm certainly undeserving of that moniker though as I try on each shoot to improve my craft in this type of photography !

Still, I enjoy the interaction, which I feel may be a lot easier here in China where people mostly love having their photos taken, a bit of a novelty when by a foreigner, and will deliberately turn their children around for a posed snapshot etc. and very often even thank me ! Whoever they are if they show any interest I usually go and show them the shot which they ooh and aah over (since most are using P&Ss, or mobile phones, the low DoF shots I prefer look quite different) or at least give them a wide smile of thanks.

Thanks Harriet - it's almost as much fun trying to caption the shots !

Nice series. I like your B&W shots. For some reason we don't see a lot of them here. I myself seldom take the time to convert to B&W and will have to retrain myself to give it a go in the future.
