Default Make Up Alert

We are in the midst of the NH Primary frenzy. Yesterday went out looking for candidates/personalities. Found Chris Matthews (Hardball Host) MSNBC having breakfast. Ist DS using 50-200, ISO 800. Makeup does wonders.

"I have to tell you, you know, itís part of reporting this case, this election, the feeling most people get when they hear Barack Obamaís speech. My, I felt this thrill going up my leg. I mean, I donít have that too often."

Yeah, the makeup helps..lol

That's amazing. Makeup AND camera angles really make a difference. Thanks for sharing an interesting shot.

Yep, amazing what makeup, lighting and camera angles can do. I occasionally see an infomercial when I'm at the gym. It's supposed to make you look younger, cover up wrinkles etc. It's always fun to figure out what they've done differently to improve their subject's appearance. Most of the time now I can spot a few things that would make a difference that has nothing to do with whatever they are selling.

My son was in a coffee shop in Manchester, NH last Friday and Diane Sawyer came in and did a piece for her show. My sons comment was the same that TV make up did wonders for her. He wound up not being interviewed but could be seen seated in the coffee shop during the replay on the 6:30 news.
