Default Sigma EF-500 DG Super Flash with K20

I searched the forum but could not find an answer. Can I safely use my Sigma EF-500 DG flash with my K20? Cheers, Mike

If it is a Pentax dedicated flash, it will work with any of the Pentax DSLRs.

It is safe to use. However, there was a generation of Sigma flashes that required re-chipping to work with the K20D. If you are getting proper exposures consistently, you are good to go!
