Default Frozen Dew Drops

Just went into the garden for a smoke and noticed the dew drops had frozen, upon closer inspection I discovered some beautiful shapes amongst the regular balls of ice. Not too many photo's, and not that well taken as I'm ill and didn't want to be out in the cold any longer than I had to lol

B&W because... I dunno... colour didn't add anything to them...

G'day Tachi

What an amazing collection of ice crystals - those shapes !!! - including the microscopic bits just by themselves

Well done mate

So sorry to hear you're under the weather - hope & pray for your quick and full recovery soon!

Speaking of weather, the cold certainly gave you some fascinating frozen subjects - great job capturing these amazing dew-crystals!

Thanks all!

It always amazes me what nature can conjure up that we overlook, especially in the macro world.

These are amazing. Great job especially not feeling well. Hope you're feeling better now.

I had to go back and read your post again. The first time I read it I thought you'd said you went out for a snake and I couldn't figure out why, if you weren't feeling well, you were going out after a snake.

I can't decide which I like best. They all intrigue me.

Thanks Patty, yeah feeling better now!

Sadly no snakes near where I live, otherwise I would be out there in the garden with my camera!
