Default Another "Guess The Lens"

Thanks to their VERY GENEROUS return policy, was able to trade a lens with KEH recently. The one first purchased was in great shape, nothing wrong with it, just didn't serve the purpose I had hoped to use it for. So KEH was very kind to allow an exchange for a different lens, even though it was weeks past the "official" return period.

This "new" (actually rather old) lens seems to be just right for the "intimate landscapes" I enjoy. Here are a few shots from a recent trip to Grassy Ridge up on Roan Mountain. It was a very sunny day, very bright high altitude light (we all got sunburned!), but the lens seemed to handle the harsh light quite well.

New lens also seems to "play well" with a Raynox close-up lens, and does not over-saturate reds. Here's a red cup fungus for a sample...

Am really enjoying the color rendition and detail this lens can capture. Here are some shots of Laurel Run, rich in green moss these wet winter days...

Here are a few shots of a restored Smoke House at a nearby park, just to show how much detail and sharpness this lens can capture...

Have had a lot of fun with this lens, and am looking forward to more good hikes soon, to give it a real test. Can you guess what lens it is?

Well I would guess about 35mm. The lens and images just scream " Mole", great color and composition. Looks like you have been shooting it for years. And as always great water falls. Nice lens and nice images
