Default Fort Myers Beach

Got to Fort Myers Beach late today about 6PM on a cloudy almost rainy day. Pelicans feed late in the day so got some shots of the clumsy diving birds. The lighting was poor and with the clouds little contrast. Shot with the 18-135, too short for the birds but good for the landscapes.

A lot of NR and cropping but they don't seem to feed in bright sunlight when I have the 300 on the camera.

The last two are hilarious. When do they get their adult plumage? This one looks like it's immature, with its dark head. The first pelican shot is very nice, love the lighting.

Your pictures are making me want to visit the beach again.
