What a great set!! These are probably the best captures I've ever seen of a RWBB. Kudos to you.

Did you know they have the ability to control the amount of red they show on their wings? I found that pretty amazing.

Excellent exposures Ed...the shades of black are A+. I can almost hear their call in #2 and #3.

Very nice Ed, I took a look at your image data and was surprised with no exposure comp. I would have had to go +1 to avoid a silhouette

Wow Ed, these are really great! Am I correct in assuming that as the series progresses the bird is getting more emphatic about defending his territory against a would-be intruder?

Ed, What great pictures! I love the catch light in the eyes and the beautiful exposure and sharp detail. Also glad to see you posting again, I have missed your stunning bird pictures.
