Beautiful birds. I've never seen that bright green either around the eyes. Lovely.

That first one is really stunning to me, like penolta I love the symmetry. I've never noticed the green before either, but usually I only see these beautiful birds when they are migrating. Love the pictures!

Ed, these are spectacular images. I have never seen the green lores on any breading Great Egret here in New England. The green color makes them very elegant. No. 3 showing the nest building activity is my favorite.
