Mole fooled me too. I was just waiting for a beautiful smooth waterfall to grace our contest. Nice twist.

Default Splash

I missed the 5th hole waiting for this Great Egret to find some food, It didn't. While waiting I was standing on a red ant nest and got some nasty bites. Great day to be outside. Thinking of the water challenge I brought a wide lens because of all the water on this course but think this turned out kind of neat. I seem to be shooting more with the Kr than the clubs.

LOL! Don't blame you about shooting more with the camera than the clubs, it would be my first choice, too. That's quite the splash, too.

From the RTW Yacht race, I'll put this up for now, maybe I'll find something I like better this month but if not at least I've got an entry in !

It's ages since I entered a challenge, but how could I resist water after a trip to Venice?

So, from Friday night, a night-time shot of the canal outside our apartment (just beyond the water door on the left). Taken with the kit 18-55mm. Focal length of 24mm at f5.6, with a hand-held exposure time of just over 1 second; 800 ISO. And just a little bit of PP.

Keith, 1 second hand-held? I couldn't do that with any lens - you have steadier hands than I do (or else I drink too much coffee).

This is turning out to be a fun month for the challenge!
