That's sad to hear. I was thinking of him the other day. He hadn't posted on here or dsl reports in quite a while. He was quite a contributor to both forums. Miss seeing his work.

That is VERY sad news, indeed! I will miss him, he was such a wonderful, supportive person. He was great about answering all of my beginner questions when I bought the DS, and I learned so much from him. I had been thinking about him recently, too.

He will not be completely gone, though. He'll stay in my thoughts and some of his shots will continue on here. My condolences to his wife and family.

I've missed Roy, as he hasn't posted in a while now, and it's very saddening to hear the news that he's passed on.

I've always admired his spirit, passion and conviction; and I am very sorry to see him leave us, as he always tried to help out others here.

My sincere condolences to his family and friends. May Roy Rest in Peace.

Even though not unexpected, it's still very saddening to recieve these news. He was the person who always showed patience helping me out with the tricky digital world when I was new on the forum. Even though we never met in person, I consider him as a close friend. His macro work is impressive, as a lot of his general photography. It's still online here.
Have a nice rest, Roy. You'll stay as a living memory amongst your friends here.

Kjell

PS Phil, please pass on our condoleances to Roy's wife DS

Sad to receieve this news. Roy was one of the first folks to welcome me to the Pentax forum here at Steve's...loved the pictures of bugs that he used to post. I know he was in poor health these past few years...may he rest in peace.
