Harriet - She (and he) were (and are) indeed very happy - a fine couple! I will pass on your congratulations to her.

Bowenp - Thanks so much! This is only a VERY TINY sampling of the 1200 photos - am still very much in the midst of sorting, PP, etc.

Wingman - I will pass on your kind words to her. Yes, lighting was definitely tricky - did not want to use flash inside the church, so shot all in raw to allow adjusting. External flash (purchased especially for this event) overheated during the reception, so had to use built-in flash.

Hans - Thanks so much! and will pass your congratulations on to them.

Zuken - Thanks for your encouragement and good wishes.

Les - Thanks so much. "Mr. & Mrs. Vole" do like the photos, and it was more fun and less trouble than I expected. I'm sure your photos of your family weddings will be even better! (20+ children sure would beat my 6!!)

My partner & I usually take a total of 1200 together-so your K20d must have been smokin'
Great shots-I'm sure they will treasure them forever!

And congratulations to the proud Father, too!

I understood your concerns when faced with a momentous occasion such as this, but knew you could handle it. A good photographer such as yourself would be adaptable enough to change modes when needed, and you managed quite well. I doubt you really required much advice. Nice work!

Macbook - Thanks! Indeed a very happy day, and start to a happy life together...

Kevin - Thanks so much!

DMJJR - Camera did fine, but flash (Metz 50) overheated...

Ishino - Thanks for your kind words and wishes!

Penolta - You were much more confident than I, but "Mr. & Mrs. Vole" are happy with the results, and that's what matters (to me) the most!

Lou - Thank you!

Patty - Thanks for your good wishes!

MtnMan - Thanks so much!

PS to all - I am close to the end of all the PP of the wedding photos, and hope to be able to post some of my (more typical) nature shots soon. Have plenty of photos from plenty of hikes, just not time for PP yet...
