Default My New (Lens) Baby

Soooo busy at work and with my daughter and potential son-in-law visiting that I've hardly had time for forums. So nice to start catching up !

As in the title ! Picked it up after having had it stuck in Wenzhou for a couple of months on it's way to me. So as we were there for business/pleasure I was delighted to while away my time taking snapshots whilst trying to figure out how best to use it

These are more a set of my experimentation in different circumstances than a true depiction of what the LBs are capable of ! I have to say I was really surprised at how sharp they are too, at 1:1 in Aperture they look damn good (when I hit focus of course) !

I have a couple of f1.2 lenses and I look forward to doing side-by-side shots to see what each can do with the same scene/subject.

An interesting set. My favorites are 1, 2 and 6. I can see that this lens would take quite a bit of practice and thought, to get it right. Definitely a specialty lens, one that has potential for some very cool, creative shots.

I have been SOO tempted to buy one of these, and the best of your shots points our why. My favorites? 2,3, & 4.... although all have appeal. And, I thought my lens envy had been cured.....lol

Nice effects with the Lens Baby. You seem to have gotten the hang of it quickly. Great shots and use of the lens.

I had no idea lens babies were so versatile. Love the over the shoulder glance. That's what street photography is all about.

Sorry guys n gals - I forgot I hadn't thanked you for your replies to this thread, just noticed !

So thank you Harriet, Paul (check out their website and watch the videos - one of their pros uses these brilliantly to shot high school seniors), Lou, Mole and PB (great set of versatile lenses that can get a range of different effects).

Much appreciated !
