Default Beaucoup Bokeh

This cooperative female Flame Skimmer sat still in the hazy morning light and let me circle around experimenting with different available OOF backgrounds. K-5 and Sigma APO 70-300 macro.

Which do you think is/are most effective?

As a perspective / AoV - #3 (even though it doesn't show off her wings).
As a backdrop for her, #5, because there is nothing to draw the eye away from the dragonfly.
As a photograph in this series, #1.

I like # 1 but find it a tad over sharpened. It has the best detail of them all. I also like #3.

They're all fabulous, but my favorite is #1. The (mostly) light gray background shows the detail in the wings best.

Must agree with Kevin - 3 is a great pose, 5 best color contrast/balance, and 1 best overall view. 2 & 4 are also very nicely done, but background a bit distracting...
