Default Watercolour effect of photo

Hey gang! Taken with my K-7 and put through a 25 step process to make a photo look like a watercolour, I had a lot of fun coming up with baby. I enjoy using my mouse as a brush... but it all starts with a neat Pentax camera and lovely scene. All the best from very, very cool... yes, I had a coat on... summer. 65 to 68 is not my idea of summer. All the best. Ned

Here is the original

I love this kind of digital photography art work. An excellent, one of the best I've seen, example. Mind sharing the steps with a link?

Hi Ned,

I don't normally like what you've done to the image, but I think your effort matches the weather, really cool. Well done.

I think we must have stollen some of your summer, it's going to be 16 degrees C, very mild for the middle of winter here in Mornington. I hope your not heading for a shocker of a winter, and we're not heading for a stinker of a summer

Nice effect. I like what you did with the edges, too.

While this isn't usually my thing, I really like how this came out. It suits the picture, enhancing rather than detracting where the special effects are more important/obvious than the subject.

I'm with the rest of the group I like your image but don't use the effect myself. I may have to rethink that

Very interesting PP of a very nice original. As most others have stated, probably would never try this myself, but you have done very well creating this "painterly" photo!
