This adorable Raccoon was eating the roses. I will put up a separate post next week of this fellow and share its story with you but wanted to get this in before the challenge closes.

Default Delectable!

Returned home from a trip to find a family had moved into our gazebo. This little one sure had an appetite, and was quite vocal when it came to meal time.

Some really nice shots but my favorite is dane/dawg's moose.

DD's moose is close but my vote goes to Lou's raccoon for the technical quality of the shot in addition to the entertainment value !

Hi DD - work has tied me down so other than test shots around the house/garden I haven't been able to take them out since I bought them a week or so ago - until yesterday

If you go to my website : http://frogfish.smugmug.com/Category

.... then those bird categories updated 2nd Sept (or later of course if you read this after that date) are all of bird shots from yesterday.

Look out for the Fairy Pitta - supposedly not more than maybe 2,000 of these gorgeous little birds remain so it was a privilege to spot one. The Asian Brown Flycatcher is the sharpest shot I took all day.

All shots were taken with the D800+Sigma 500mm and all were handheld

I've gotta go for the moose out of rarity (for me at least)

Great shots to everyone!
