Default Bedrock Gardens

A few weeks ago Lou and his wife and my husband and I spent the day at Bedrock Gardens and then at Newcastle Beach. The weather was perfect that day. Although, we could have used a few more clouds in the sky.

Here are a few of my images taken that day. Bedrock Gardens is 30 acre garden of flowers and metal sculptures. It was amazing to see what they had done with scraps of metal. There is a wildlife pond. They have a waterway they call the Wiggle Waggle.

Here are some others. The last one was an experiment Lou told me about. It's taken by moving the camera up and down as taking the photo. It's hard to get the timing right. And, you really have to select a subject that will come out well with it.

So nice to see some of your great photos again! And also so glad to hear of your fun "photo-expedition." All are very fine and interesting images - favorite is the lotus (?) flower (#3) - perfect exposure, great lighting, very fine detail.

Nice shots Patty, I like the long grass in a rain storm too!

Very nice photos Patty. I especially like the blurry "motion shot." It's very nice to see you back here.

I enjoy seeing your pictures. It was a great day spent with you and Walter. Nice shot of the Wiggle Wagle.

That looks like a delightful place to wander - a fun place to photograph. I'm with mole, I like your #3, the water flower (of some sort). Your motion photo worked out very nicely, I'll have to try something like that again (I played around with using camera motion for effect a couple of years ago, should try it again).
