Default Senior's Football

Hi all,

I took a few shots at a local senior football game a few weeks ago, the guy's are older than they used to be, but just as keen.

Wonderful shots! These guys might be "seniors" but they look like they are not to be trifles with.

Nice action shots Simon. I agree with Mtnman regarding the condition of these seniors.

The young guys might run circles around them, but they sure won't intimidate this bunch.

Thanks all,

I think there was as much smiling as rubbing liniment after the game, these guy's look like they really enjoyed the game. The local team, blue and orange, wiped the visitors, black & yellow, the score was something like 22goals 10 behinds to about 2goals 2behinds, and the odd cleansing Ale would have been downed as well.

And yes, it is raining in the second pic, the weather ranged from brilliant sunshine to grey and rainy.

Ah Melbourne weather, "don't like it, wait a minute, it'll change".

Such great captures of the intensity of each moment - and nice job handling the changing light!

They do look like they are having a great time, very intense. Great to see folks still enjoying the game for a long time.
