They are cute. But can do a lot of damage. I like your 3rd and last image best just keep the little critters in the wild

I love that third shot. How cute.

As I said in another post, raccoons are one of my favorite animals. My husband has a different opinion of them that we know better than to discuss. I can see his point in the menacing end, but they are so dang cute.

Cute little critters, indeed. We have them around here but they aren't as obnoxious as they can be other places. Hope that they don't end up with a pest, since he's so tame.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments.

I had a report yesterday that the raccoon did leave for more than a day but came back again. Perhaps these away times will become longer and eventually he will assimilate back to nature. He is an adorable animal now but in time he will become far less desirable to have around.
