Nice shots Dane, I like the first and last best, birds in flight are always a challenge.

Wonderful lighting and detail on each of these! Classic Mantis pose, very fine "action shot" on the garden snail, and indeed wonderful BIF photos. But my favorite is the very expressive face on the perched Vulture - he is definitely eyeing you!

I to like the first and last, although all good, those two are standouts.

Really nice shots. I especially like the great blue heron and the golden eagle(?) in the last shot.

Great Mantis photo but for me the vulture looking down is the winner. They are all great shots that you can be proud of.

While I love the mantis and the snail, I think my favorite is the eagle in the last one. I just spent a few minutes trying to figure out the difference between a golden eagle and an immature bald eagle; came to no particular conclusion. One of the birders will have to properly identify your last one, though I would think it's most likely a golden eagle. Don't care really, the shot is still fabulous!
