Default A few birds and revising an old

It's been real rainy past few days so I didn't have a lot of photo opportunities but worked with what I had.

These aren't anything to brag about but I thought I would share them anyways.

And here is an old one I revisted. I don't believe I posted this before but when stumbled across it again liked it enough to share.

Thanks for looking

Hummers are always something to brag about to those of us that don't have them

Nice shots.

I've never seen hummers perching on a branch. I see them (in warm weather) sipping nectar from flowers, then they zip away. I've never been fast enough to see where they go. That was quite an accomplishment to follow them to wherever they perch.

I appreciate the comments. I got one mediocre pic of it in flight, and one rather peculiar one of it spitting a stream of water. I was going to post but ran short on time.

Great hummer pictures. At my daughter's home in Maine they always perch up in a tall pine tree before descending to the feeder but are too far up to get a decent shot of them standing there.

The overcast weather provided some nice color and soft textures, I like the look, nice job

Don't mind if you would brag about them. They are good enough for me.

Nice series

Nice. Hummingbirds are totally out of my abilites to capture before they flit off. You did a great job.

Very nice birds, and the butterfly is excellent. While the hummer photos are neat, I like your first one (chickadee?).

Looks like you took great advantage of the soft light on these cloudy damp days. Agree wit Harriet - that's a very nice Chickadee photo!
