Default 3600 mi. starting in Las Vegas

I just returned from a trip to several western states with my wife, sister in law and her husband. One of the group has some mobility issues so we stayed mostly near the roads. We flew into Las Vegas, spent 2 days then drove to Salt Lake City, Lou (Keltech) recommended a road to travel between Las Vegas and Salt Lake City called Utah Scenic Byway 12, the first leg of you trip. I took my Kr W/DA 18-135, K2000 W/DAL 55-300 and my Can** S100 because it's pocket-able and has a 24mm EFL lens (slightly wider than my 18-135) I hope you don't mind but I'll sneak in a Can** shot now and then. We did 3600 miles in slightly over 2 weeks an aggressive agenda. I'm the only one in the group interested in photography. The following shots are from Byway 12.

Incredible shots of some incredible scenery. We went to Cedar Breaks last weekend so I can relate to the photos. We even got to see some fall colors as we drove back by way of Brian Head. Looking forward to more of your trip.

They are all lovely. But, that first one shows the size so well with the truck coming through for comparison. That's a lot of red rock.

Hans glad you enjoyed the drive over highway 12. Your shots speak well for the spectacular scenery one sees on that road.
