Is that snow??? Looking at your pictures made me think that if the weather is nice I might put the Painted Desert on our tentative/possible places to visit in a couple of weeks. But not if the weather is lousy. Surprised they've already had snow, which doesn't necessarily bode well for us.

Yes, it had snowed. Not much but enough to say it had Not sure I'd go out of my way to go back.

These photos make me want to return to the southwest! I have only been twice, and both trips were very brief. So many places on our list; so little time and money........

Nice crisp and clear shots. I remember going to both places back in the late 60's when I was relocated to CA for a few years. I had great expectations but was somewhat underwhelmed when I finally got to see these parks.
