We explored several side trails that also end/begin at the lake, and then started back down. Fog changed to rain, so no photos of the return trip...

Hope you enjoyed these glimpses of one of my favorite Wild places, and that you will share your comments, critique & suggestions.

The striking colors against the fog have a wonderful effect.

Great collection from your hike. I know you love doing the blurred water effects. Would like to see a couple of pics at a high shutter speed to stop the water's action. Just say'n.........

Lisa - Thanks so much for your very kind words (although I will disagree - there are some much better photographers here...) So glad you enjoy these views of East Tennessee's natural blessings!

MacBook - It was indeed a lovely fog. Thanks!

Bob - Glad you enjoyed these. Will try to remember to get some fast shutter speed photos for you, but it may be a while, we are in the midst of our driest season...

Dane/Dawg - Thanks for the kind words and the helpful feedback!

Another wonderful hike. I also like the maple leaves in the fog. The old truck shots were a nice change of pace.

Really lovely shots! Excellent detail, yet no evidence of "oversharpenning"... in other words... it just looks excellent and what you would see with your eyes. Great colour, exposure, and like the way you captured the water. Your camera really amazing, and so are your talents. These photos reflect that. Thanks for sharing this. Ned

Great photo's...I especially like the fogged in spider web and that old derelict logging truck.
