Default Firmware 1.12

Hi all, I just updated my K5 to firmware 1.12, and noticed in Live View I now have a grid on the screen. Never really noticed it before, but I rarely use Live View. Is there a way to turn it off? Here are some shots of Disney's new Animation resort. Sorry for the long lapse, been very busy on this end. All is well, and I'm finally starting to use my K5 again. Hope everyone has a great Christmas!

Cool shots! I'm glad that the K5 is still working out for you. I've never noticed the lines on live view, but isn't there a custom menu option about them? I'm so sleepy I'm not going to check, but I have a vague thought that you can change what you see in live view. The pictures are very nice - were they hand-held?

Ok, I found the option under live view in tab 4. It's good to be using my K5 again. I really haven't shot with it much since Italy. Just been so busy. I did use a small Manfrotto tripod.

you got some nice shots looks like a neat place, I assume it's near Orlando, is there a walking tour for people not staying in the resort.

Some really cute shots, showcasing your talents and the K-5's low-light capabilities. Nice to see your fine work posted here again!

Thanks! I like night photography. I almost never use a flash. To me available light is just so right. With the K5, it opened up all those opportunities to me. I just love the K5.
