Default My Favorite Model

Christmas got off to a fantastic start last night with the arrival of the Queen of Hawaii and her parents. I'm not sure the K-5 will be able to handle the volume of shots I'll be taking the next couple of weeks. Nothing like a proud grandpa who doesn't often get to see his beautiful granddaughter.

Since she's from Hawaii, this thing called "cold" has her befuddled, and even more curious is building a fire inside the house.

Raise your sippy cups high for a toast to the holidays.

And a couple of closeups.....

I'll apologize in advance for the number of times you'll see her the next couple of weeks. Very seldom I get to hold her and photograph her.

She's just adorable! Just wait until she sees snow, then she'll be really confused/befuddled. Your pictures are very flattering to her, too.

Great pictures and I am sure the K-5 can handle the job. I have shot over 30,000 images with mine so far and its never had an issue.

Paul,
The queen certainly has ascended her throne and quite rightfully so.
I think she will like the moniker of "Alii" after all being an Hawaiian princess does, carry a lot of weight.
There is a song entitled Pineapple Princess by a local group called Na Leo. If you get a chance listen to it.

Don't you just love grand daughters I have 4 but they loose the desire to pose with age. What a cute bundle of joy

What a little cutie. She's getting so big. Yep, can't resist photos of grandkids. Hoping to get some of my own in the next month or so.

Glad they could come for a visit.
