Default Feed my apatite for snow!

Hi all, just wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. I was wondering if you guys could post shots of snow. We moved to Florida in 1987 from Chicago where I lived for 30 years. I really miss snow at the holiday season. Could you guys just post some shots for me. Thanks. I really miss it. Never thought I would, but I really do.

Sorry Tony I can't help you, We have only had about a 1/4 inch so far this year in SE Michigan and is gone now, but it's below freezing if that helps.

Snow on top of a marshy area, creating hummocks.

And...there's nothing like a winter waterfall to remember winter.

Nothing yet from 2012, but here are some from a couple of years ago that I hope will help! I included one from an ice storm as well. Pentax K20D.

Merry Christmas!

Jehan

Snow you want, snow you get!

This is a pretty recent photo I've used as an electronic Christmas Greeting to the extended family. The text simply says Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in Swedish.
The stream and the bridge are nearby, and we had snow already in the beginning of December this year. And cold as well, down to -24C (-11F) two weeks ago. Not to my liking, but beautiful anyway.

Happy Holidays to you all!

I've never tried to do a link to one of my pictures on zenfolio from my iPad, so this might or might not work right. In any case, here's one from 2 weeks ago, when we were in Flaggstaff.

Hey, it worked!

Some really nice snow photos--I should have some to add by morning to add to the list as we're predicted for 6-10" tonight.

We had a very little bit of snow today. Not much. I didn't manage to get out and get any shots. But, we have some more forecast for later in the week. So, maybe I can add some to your collection here.

Lovely shots so far of the bridges and waterfall, etc. So pretty.

Merry Christmas! Patty
