My vote is for nhmom's buried car. Dug out from that more times than I care to remember. Then the driveway. Then the plow comes and throws up a four foot berm.

Some really nice photos - just wish there had been more of them!

Another vote for Patty (NHMom) and her accurate weather forecast.

I agree with mole. Wish there had been more entries. Not that what's here isn't good. It's just fun to see how people interpret the challenge each month.

My vote goes to mole's "no picnic today". How appropriate.

Hope I'm not too late. I had a very difficult time choosing, but time and again I am drawn to Harriet's flag at half mast. It tells a story, but without a caption it also leaves many unanswered questions. The somber gray sky also fits the mood of the photo perfectly.

My vote has to go to Patty, just for the fact that she was brave enough or to open her garage door after the blizzard and take that descriptive photo.

Having come home from Florida myself the day before the storm, there was no way I was going out to take any pictures with the wind blowing at 50MPH and the snow blowing horizontally. Brrrrr.......... I get chilled just looking at that picture.

I like all the pictures posted here, but I'm going to vote for Patty's picture also.

Thanks again to everyone who participated in the February challenge, and congratulations to Patty for winning. Everyone did a great job of storytelling with their photos. Patty's picture still makes me shiver!

Well, I certainly never expected my car shot to win. It was just a snapshot taken to show my family how much snow we'd gotten. And, I think more like stupid enough to open the garage door. As it went up, the snow was falling into the garage. So, after taking the shot, I had to shovel out the garage to get the door closed again. I was home alone that weekend and sick the whole weekend. So, it wasn't a fun weekend. I was just glad we hadn't lost power this time.

Anyway, thanks for the votes. I really feel there were other shots I considered to be better images.

I'll think overnight and come up with a topic for March.
