Default February Challenge Photo Journalism

This months challenge is to submit a picture that tells a story. Your title should caption the story. The rules will be the same as always, only pictures taken in the last 30 days with a Pentax or Samsung digital SLR and will include the Q and K-01 cameras.

Here is one that was taken several years ago that will give an example of what the challenge is about:

"Leap Of Faith On Yangtzee River"

Default So Many Books, So Little Time

I take my two year old grandson to a library play group and he loves just wandering the stacks. I just follow and shoot, giving no directions. I may change this, but it was too classic.

I may change this picture, but considering how few pictures I'm taking right now, I don't think I'll have anything more appropriate. Don't know if anyone else will see this shot as a story-telling picture, but it does to me. And I doubt I'll manage to take anything else by the end of the month.

A belated congratulations to Lou on a very well-deserved win last month, and certainly a very interesting subject for this month.

Here's my entry, unless something better comes along. A view of the Duck River at Henry Horton State Park during recent flooding. Title - "No Picnic Today!"

First, congratulations Lou. You deserved it!

Well, I guess it's about time I submitted something. Been a few months.

This isn't the greatest. Due to all the snow, I was limited to where I could photograph from. We got two feet this day. The blizzard of 2013 a few weeks ago. It took quite a while to get my car dug out.

I call it - "They were right this time!"

The cold and Snow have kept me from going out and trying to get what I wanted but while in Florida early in the month I took this shot that tells the story of "Preparing for the next generation".

A quick reminder that there are only 4 more days left for this month's challenge.

The time to vote has come. Voting deadline is Sunday evening. The winner to be announced on Monday morning.

Thanks to all who have participated. There are some imaginative story telling photos to choose from.
