Interesting icy macro shots, we don't have anything like that in our area. It gives me an idea what winter is really like in other parts of the country. Every picture is good, but I like the 7th picture the best which resembles a hand holding an ice cube. Thank you for sharing!

Great macros of the Ice. Number 2, 5 & 6 are my favorites.

Hans - Thanks so much! I tried some shots of the icy landscapes, but none were to my liking. Details came out much better...

Bock - Thanks for your kind words.

Narcis O. - Those were some of my favorites too - it took a lot of crawling under to get the right angle, without touching them (ice made them so fragile that they just broke off at the slightest touch).

WCKser - Ice storms are rather rare here, but certainly fascinating when they happen. Your "little hand" is actually a stalk that held a seedpod on a Princess Tree. Seedpods gone, stalks remain...
