All of them are great captures and indeed the GBH in flight is showing your photographic skill. They are all so nice it is hard to pick a favorite.

Yes, another great set. Love the White Throated Sparrow set. We have 1 around our house (not common for these parts) and while I have taken many pics of it none are as good as the ones you posted. Really shows off what a pretty bird they are.

Great series Mole, nicely done with uncluttered backgrounds and very sharp feather detail

Another wonderful set, Mole. It's images like the second shot of the mockingbird that helped push me into the Pentax line. You and a few other here are directly responsible for that, and I thank you all very much.

Great shots, mole. All are great. But, again, I'm drawn to the squirrel shot where it looks like this one is saying, "you can't see me here".

Lou - Thanks so much! Not sure if it was so much skill as a "happy accident," but was certainly happy with the results!

John - They sure are cute little'uns!

Hans - Glad you enjoyed these. That Tokina 400 really does a nice job, especially if the birds are not too far away.

Gary - And thank you for taking time to comment, and for sharing your great photos with the K30. You inspired me to try some "through the glass" shots after a fairly recent snowstorm. Only got a few keepers, but will post them sometime pretty soon.

Patty - They are indeed such comical little pests!

Another great selection, well photographed. Woodpeckers never seem to give a photographer a decent angle, being above you all the time - you'd need to build a "hide" up in a tree to do it!

Penolta - sounds like a good idea - or maybe I should "borrow" a treehouse!
