Default Snowy in these parts

Hello all again! I have been away for awhile (busy, busy fall and winter)..My camera and I got reaquainted again and I have lucked out with some owls allowing me to take more than one photo before they fly off...Here's a snowy that was more than happy to pose...

How fortunate to see this bird. I have never had the privilege of seeing a snowy owl. I also like the third one best.

I think these guys are getting used to people stopping and gawking...they used to fly off before you got the vehicle stopped. But then if I recall it was about -35 below that morning so neither he or I wanted to move very much...

So glad to see some of your great photos again. You did a very nice job of capturing the wide dynamic range, and some great owl facial expressions too!

Thankyou all for the kind comments..Dane,I am still in awe when I come up to them on the prairie..they just have this majestic aura..I hate driving away..And Keltech, around our parts, youang and old owls sometimes don't have much of a choice where to perch..not much to perch on sometimes..lol.And Mole..it's nice to be back..after some time of frustration with my Kr we have come to an understanding...
