Default Canada Day Fireworks

July 1st is Canada Day here in the Great White North. One of my favourite holidays and fireworks are one of my favourite subjects to shoot. You never know what to expect. These were taken at the Nikka Yuko Japanese Gardens, rated as one of the top ten Japanese gardens in North America. The building you see in the photos is the tea house. Varied exposure from 2 to 5 seconds with aperture settings between F5.6 and F13. Hope to see more firework images from other Canadians as well as our American friends when they celebrate the 4th of July.

G'day mate

Beautiful setting, excellent results
Thanks for sharing
[ps in the great-land-downunder we do the same thing on January 26 - in our mid summer too]

Wonderful, I love fireworks and you captured them so well.

Too much rain here for any fireworks, so thanks so much for sharing yours! Your timing and exposure are just right, yielding excellent results!

Thanks everyone for your comments. I'm still looking for more posts and images from others who have shot fireworks on Canada Day or Independence Day.
