Brenda and I spent the Fourth of July in our bag chairs on the shore of Lake Degray in SW Arkansas. We picked a great spot in terms of getting in and out....but we were further from the fireworks than I would have liked to be. Thus, I fortunately had my Tamron 70-300 in my bag, instead of the wide lenses I would normally choose for fireworks. ISO had to go the 10,000 on the K5, with resultant contrast increase and noise reduction in Lightroom 3. All shots were manual focus at infinity with manual shutter and f/stop.
Feels good to enjoy shooting again.
